This romantic wedding is described as Shabby Chic and you’ll see why! The color palette of natural green, brown and gray brought an organic rustic vibe to their special day. Beautiful photography by George Street Photo & Video.
From the photographer:
Matt and Ashley’s personal, romantic, French garden wedding was much more than just your typical rustic wedding. This 1930’s north Beverly Ma estate overlooks the water and gives you the old world feel within seconds of walking the grounds. It’s mossed stone work and greened details were the perfect back drop for this bride’s vision of her wedding day. Fast forward a year and a half of planning, a truthful, hysterical, and realistic blog the bride wrote thought out the wedding planning process. “What really happens before I do” gave these guests just a small taste of the day. September 5th 2015 these two college sweethearts were wed at a romantic and personal ceremony. The bridal party walked though custom antique swinging doors, the bride and family found at an antique store and flea market, opened up to van Morrison’s into the mystic. The bridesmaids, each in different color dresses pulled together perfectly with flowers and the natural background of the estate. The bride and her father walked down the aisle with nothing but love, confidence and excitement expressed on their faces. When Ashley and Matt finally saw each other that day, it was like they were alone in their own bubble expressing nothing but their love for each other across their faces. The couple was married by a friend, who spoke about the couples importance of friendship and family. The 285 person wedding was not only about Matt and Ashley but about everyone in attendance. The bride wearing a custom gown enhanced by the accents of her mother’s lace; the same lace from her mother’s wedding dress 30 years ago. Designed by the bride and Mother the specifically placed lace flowed down the open back and neck line of the gown. Represented more than just style, it stood for love, eternity and a life time of happiness. With their closes friends and family surrounding them they shared their own vows and promises bonding them for life as husband and wife. Their cocktail hour was full of amazing details. An antique 26 pane window held the perfect place for the seating chart. Signs and notes throughout the home shared the couples love and “old soul” personalities. Hand rolled Cigar bar, personalized cocktails, and family made Rosemary infused olive oil gifts placed in antique wooden boxes. The guest book was a wood sign with the couples last name and wedding date to be hung at their residence. The notes and best wishes would face the wall to inject the love into their home.Herbs were highlighted through the estate, in the bouquets and the center prices giving off an Amazing sent that set the relaxed at home feeling. The tented reception had creative center pieces, pictures of the couple corresponding their age and table numbers. The green moss and ivory accents travelled throughout the evening. Their wedding cake rusticity frosted accented with rosemary. The night full of dancing, fun and laughter was just what the newlyweds wanted to share with their friends and family. It was a beautiful, personalized, detailed wedding that Matt and Ashley were so happy to have shared with their guests. It was a weekend to remember, our best man and maids of honor were engaging and unbelievably entertaining. The couple smiled from ear to ear all evening. Forgetting any little mistake, timing issues or wardrobe malfunctions.
